This is a very clever product. I put it in a very large bird bath next to a goofy looking frog. When the sun hits the solar panel the lily pad sprinkles water. I love watching it and the only thing is I have to make sure there is enough water in the bird bath so the lily pad has enough water to spray. Top to learn more

Fairy Maiden Water Fountain
Oh my gosh, what can I say about this, but...BEAUTIFUL!!! I know that this was the best purchase I made for my garden this year so far. My husband had been searching stores in Phoenix for months trying to find a fountain like this. Beautiful Fountain
I have purchased 4 outdoor fountains this summer, and this one is probably my favorite as far as aesthetics. The fountain and detailing of the figure/flowers are very beautiful. The item has been outside since July; as of this writing, it is showing no signs of staining or weathering. I was somewhat surprised that the water does not run through quickly; the holes available for the water's path are so small. Since the water stream is narrow and basically "trickles", the fountain does not have a splashing noise normally associated with an outdoor fountain; however, the fountain was definately worth the price paid. Great flowing stream sound
There are both pros and cons to this product. It's made in China, as so many things are these days. The slate exterior looks like it could be a thin laminate. Its worn in several places, revealing a solid color underneath. The slate itself has little color, mostly tones of grey. But gently cleaning the exterior of the fountain with some mild sudsy water and a wash cloth did wonders for its appearance.Its a heavy, solid piece, built to last. The copper funnels look nice in contrast. The water flow actually sounds like a small stream. Its very soothing. And there's an "on-off" switch in the cord. There's no spashing whatsoever around the fountain.It would be nice if it came with a light, but it doesn't. I placed an amber colored submersible light in its base. It adds some light to the front of the fountain, although the fountain construction doesn't allow much of that light to travel up. A mini spotlight with a dimmer, pointed at the wall behind the... Beware of what doesn't show
I love the tabletop fountain idea. It has a very soothing sound, however, I am disappointed in the electrical connections. Yes, it has a long cord so you can put it just about anywhere, BUT, the ONLY way to turn it off is to unplug it at the socket. This is not convenient and now becomes a chore to use. We had a different one where the shut off was just below the unit, about 6 inches so it still hid behind the table. I would have liked to know 'where' I would need to turn it off and on...it definitely would have made a difference in my purchase decision. This unit also came in 2 sizes showing a light source for the larger one...I unfortuntely presumed they would both have a light source...not so. Send it back, sure I could but the unit is quite heavy and the shipping alone would defeat the purpose of a good Amazon deal. Top to learn more

I love this little fountain! It's been going in our house 24/7 for over 2 months, and has worked fine.We keep it on the floor of our dining room, where the lovely water sound can be heard throughout the first floor of our house. The sound of the running water is very pleasant and relaxing. The water flow is good, and unlike some other fountains the water doesn't get "stuck" on a level but flows continuously through. The illumination is subtle and nice, brighter then a night light mostly because of the water reflections that play across the walls.The only down side I've found is that it isn't a 360 degree view fountain - the back isn't as attractive as the front, so you will want to keep the back against a wall. For the price, this wasn't a big deal to me.Overall, it's a great fountain for the money.Note: when you first get the fountain, it's important follow the instructions to wash both the fountain and the stones well before use. I received this as a Christmas gift, and so far it's been a pleasant diversion. It has one best view (as the back is unfinished) so it must be placed against a wall. It works best when full of clean water; the pump must be completely immersed, or an unwelcome grinding noise will result. Enclosed documents also explain that dust or heavy water can lead to increased noise.I found an ideal place for mine, on a sideboy in a hallway, where the sound of the running water can be heard from two rooms, and where the light can be kept low so the silvery spotlights can sparkle in the running water. It's not made of stone (though polished stones are included for meditative and decorative purposes), but the black plastic is unobtrusive, and it's quite soothing.
