EXCELLENT
The Knee Walker is a life-saver!!! This is so much safer than crutches!!! I had surgery on my foot on 12/29/09 and will need to use it for 3 months and I can't imagine not having it!!! I fell 3 times with crutches which I used until this arrived. For $165.00 this is the best one out there, the other ones are so much more expensive and I don't think unless you are really frail that using one that turns is that big of a deal. My Orthopaedic doctor was so impressed that he ordered several to have at his practice for people. I can't say enough good things about this product!!!

Much better than crutches or walkers!
I had foot reconstruction that required me to be completely off of my foot for at least 8 weeks, and I also have severe arthritis all over the place, and I dreaded using a walker during recovery. I ordered the junior sized knee walker because I am a short adult. This knee walker is the best mobility aid I've ever used!!! I am able to get around without problems in my house and in most public places with ease. I also draw lots of attention from people in public who want to know where I got the walker because they all know someone who could really use one. The only drawback to using this walker is that you cannot safely navigate stairs or any surface other than flat ground, but you probably shouldn't be navigating these conditions while you're recovering anyway! :) If you're on the fence about trying this device, don't hesitate to get one!

Excellent Product
This is a great product. Assembly was easy. It consisted of putting the wheels on the posts. You do not have to connect the brake cables, but they may need adjustment. It did not come with instructions so there are a couple things you might want to know. I first put both the back wheels on the outside of the frame posts. This is more stable, but I kept hitting my ankle against the wheel on the side I was pushing on. So, turned that wheel on the inside of the frame and it worked a lot better. The height adjustment holes are on both sides of the posts, so it adjusts easily. You can see a photo on-line with one of the back wheels on the inside of the post on one side. Also, the brake lever pushes forward to lock the wheels. This is convenient when standing next to a counter. You can lean on the walker and it stays put so you can use both hands. It takes just a few minutes to get used to. You pick up the front and correct the direction as you move along. You can easily use one hand and...

Absolutely great!
This product...once you look at it for a minute....think it through...perhaps with a little help from someone younger! Works GREAT! Face it, at 65 we're not always at our sharpest! I've had a few knocks to the head and used to be able to do these things in a flash! The velcro straps allow for some FLEXIBLITY when the walker isn't the same shape as the basket!!!! It REALLY works well. Now I can carry the phone safely with a drink in the same basket without worrying about the drink spilling on the PHONE! If you want something pretty, order a bicycle basket! But if you want something that REALLY works, this is what you NEED!

It attaches with five velcro strips, so it is easy to make secure on almost any time of walker, even those with an additional bar sticking out. Plastic insert fits well and allows my father to easily bring a (covered)cup of coffee back to his room from the lunchroom--he's a happy camper!

Knee walker
The knee walker was reasonably priced, well made and sturdy. It was easy to assemble. When the back wheels are on the outer leg setting, the walker is very stable. It took about 10 days to arrive with the free shipping, probably because I'm in California, and it shipped from the east coast. The only problem it had was that it doesn't steer. It was well worth the money though. I wouldn't have paid the extra $300 for a knee walk/er that did steer.
