Thank GOD for these ingredients!
All of the sudden we had a tick problem. We live in S Florida in a well landscaped community. We've lived here for five years and we've found one tick on our Boxer who goes on runs with us and goes to the dog park. We have used advantix in the past but not regularly because my poor boy gets all mopey for two days. Any way about four weeks ago I found a tiny tick so advatix and virbac lotion went on. Every day there after we had found 1 to 5 ticks after each walk! I also have a very old cocker spaniel who is impossible to check thoroughly due to her hair but she was also advatix treated and lotioned as well and the poor girl had ticks! I brought this natural spray home mostly because I was desperate and felt like I was overloading them with chemicals day in and day out. I needed something that I could use in between lotion days and monthly drops only hoping to manage the issue. WELL, no ticks! Not one!! I wish I would've tried this stuff earlier. Works great - but best if you apply on the paws
I have used this product as directed for several years... It helped with ticks but not completely. I obtained better results by applying it against the direction of hair growth.Yet, it was necessary to use it even with prescription tick and flea stuff. (Our forests have become much more tick infested in the last five years!!!). Still, one to three ticks always seemed to overcome all of these chemicals.However, I have now found it best not to spray the dog's belly, but to spray a reasonable amount on a shop towel (which I reserve for this purpose inside a tupperware) and then apply it *only* to the paws (all four) and between fingers (each and every finger).By applying on the paws, I have reduced an average of 1-3 ticks per daily one mile walk on tick-infested zones down to zero per trip.Folks seem to believe that ticks stand on blades of grass and climb on from there... That might happen, but... in 1+ years experience of doing as above,...

Works great
Have used this product on our min pin and it does keep the fleas and ticks away. Havent found one on her yet this year. It is a little greasy, but it goes away with a couple days. Just started using it on our golden retriever pup. I like the smell of it, but it is strong. I dont like putting chemicals on the dogs, so this is a much better alternative.

My Dad’s dog had this. He is tight with his money (my dad not the dog) and didn’t want to pay $200 at the vet, so this is what we did. Thankfully, worked great! This problem can be caused by mites, fungus, fleas or bugs or an allergy to any of these. This formula tends to work in most of these situations.

For a 50 pound dog, raise or lower the dose based on dogs weight. 1 Hannah Kroger Wormwood Capsule a day in food for about 3 weeks. This kills fleas, mites and parasites from the inside. Also tends to make dogs smell bad to bugs. If you can get some food grade diatomaceous earth this can be substituted for the wormwood to kill bugs from the inside. Remember to get the food grade the other kind is for swimming pools. Put a tablespoon of this a day in the dogs food per 50 pound dog, more or less based on weight. Do this for about three weeks. You can dust the dog with this outside once a week, it will kill bugs on his coat. Some ranchers put this by the cattle watering troughs, so the cattle bump against the diatomaceous earth container when they go under it and get some on their skin to repel fleas and bugs.

Get some plastic gloves and rub Aloe Vera gel mixed with tea tree oil on spots twice a day. Put some aloe vera gel in your hand and add a few drops on tea tree oil and rub it in. Raw coconut oil is very soothing and healing for skin irritations as well.

You know how if a tree didn’t have bark it might have a lot of issues? Well oil protects the skin. Dogs in dog shows often have safflower oil in their food for beautiful shiny coats. Add a tablespoon of safflower oil a day to the food of a 50 pound dog, more or less based on weight for other dogs. This makes the skin and coat stronger and tends to minimize and heal skin issues.

The tea tree tends to kill fungus or mange. The aloe is soothing.

So if it was fungus the tea tree oil mixed with aloe hopefully got it. If it was parasites or mites the wormwood and diatomaceous earth inside and outside got it and if it was allergies the aloe get mixed with tea tree oil hopefully got it!

not so bad for cats at all
We have used this formula of plant oils to treat our 4 outdoor cats for years now. The first time using it, the cats did react shocked by the odor and quite obviously disliked the taste even more when they tried to lick it off. After sulking quite dramatically for a day they were just fine again, and have since become used to it. They do not try to lick it off anymore the first day, and groom a bit more vigorously the second day after application.They are treated around once a month, and the product IS very effective. Our cats are part of a seemingly wider cat community, and of course the male cats tend to wander quite a bit. If we do not use the flea spray our cats will eventually start scratching. We have toddlers and kids in the house, and are therefore wary of some of the other insect poisons useful to treat cats. Those may be odorless and tasteless, but even the permethrins have been strongly implicated to have some relation to Alzheimers. Why risk it...
