Great product.
I have four cats and really like the convenience of having a scooper attached to each litter box. I also like this model because the sides are tall which helps keep litter spillage down but you don't have to remove the top to clean the box. Its great. Another reviewer said they had an issue with not being able to scoop well around the corners - if you buy a decent scoopable cat litter, this isn't an issue at all. I have four of these and highly recommend the product. It is a great value compared to the other options our there, too.

Works well for price
I thought this litter box worked very well. My cat likes to throw the litter everywhere and this keeps him from doing that except he still throws it out the front which is why we got a kitty mat. Its easy to snap together and snap apart to clean. Corners are a little hard to scoop but with a clumping litter, cleaning is easy. Love the litter scooper that comes with it. It snaps onto the side very easily so you dont have to set it on the floor.Update 10/11 I just purchased another one and I still love it! Great price!

For those who don't like this--just use it right
If you put the box together right, the loose litter flows through the screen as you roll the box to the right; keep rolling the box and the clumps go on over the top of the screen into the open top of the collection box. Ingeniously simple! (For those who think the CLUMPS need to go through the screen: look at it again. It's probably just a matter of flipping the screen so that it goes from the edge of the collection box downward to the bottom, not upward. Leaving the top of the collection box uncovered, at the top edge of the screen.) Some hints: 1) When you roll the box upright again, give it a good shake to the right, or roll it part way to the left and back upright, to bring the litter back into the potty chamber. 2) If your floor space is limited, scoot the box leftward as you roll it to the right. As for the litter, there is no magic height the litter has to be in the potty chamber; I don't know how some could find this a problem. 3) To fill the box, tilt it...

BEST IDEA since cat litter
I would describe this cat box with words like- LOVE_LOVE- FUN- easy, ETC ETC.... When I bought the first one, I saved the receipt. I thought for $30 I am taking it back if it doesnt work like a dream. I also gave it to my mom as XMAS gift, so I wanted to make her test it out. When we first got Ragdolls cats for each other as XMAS gifts, we agreed on loving the cats but hating the cat box. We even tried the automatic cleaning ones and took them back. This cat box would be worth $100 in my opinion. I cant believe how easy it is to use, less then 10 seconds to cleans the litter box, no removing the lid. Throw away the scoops as you will never need it once you own this cat box. No smell, no bags, no mess. Even for someone with a bad back it would only require bending over. You roll it upside down, and the cleaning is done. You slide out the drawer and the solied litter is ready to goto the trash can. The only thing I could think people may need to adjust...

Customer Video Review Length:: 0:38 MinsI've tried several types of litterboxes and this one has been the best by far. Nothing else seemed to keep litter off the floor, but this design has really cut down on the number of times we have to sweep around and underneath the box. We have 2 average-sized cats (9-12 lbs; names Stinky and Number 2), living with us in very small apartment. I know that at least 2 litterboxes are recommended, but this is just not realistic in a place like ours. Anyway, one cat (Stinky) apparently has NO scratch instinct and consistently drops his loads in the box and runs off without covering them up. The other cat (#2) is fastidious. After doing her business she will tidily cover the offender within seconds, then continues to paw at the litter for about 5 minutes, or until someone chases her out. She is also not content to just scratch the litter, but scratches the floor and walls around the box too. With other boxes (including covered ones) we had to live with cleaning up...

Love this litter box!
I've been through MANY litter boxes, and this one is just great. My cats got used to it very quickly and it has really reduced the amount of litter I have to sweep up. I also no longer have to clean up after one cat who doesn't have great aim (she always aims high, so there would be urine between the box and the lid of my old litter boxes). I've never really done the liner thing because they are so expensive, but I read on another site that you can use 30 gallon trash bags instead of buying the liners. I tried it out, and they fit and work perfectly (I've been using outdoor bags since they are thicker than kitchen bags). I highly recommend this box!

Depends on your cat.
I have 2 large (17 lb) cats who tend to tip over the front door style boxes. For one of my cats, this was the perfect box. He could scratch and fling and there was no tracking. Perfect. Our other cat was a different story. She did not like going down into the box and at first she was clever and sat on the top and did her business into the hole, just like using a toilet. Good kitty!!! But then, she got sloppy and would just go anywhere on the top of the box. Ick. Bad Kitty!!! That was the end of that. Since it's just a glorified rubbermaid box, it now holds kindling wood in our garage. So, if it hadn't been for our stupid cat,this would have been the perfect litter box. Oh well, I'm still looking.

I love this litter box!
Life in my 1B/1B apartment is much better since we got this litter box. Previously, I had an uncovered, rectangular, jumbo-sized box. (It was jumbo-sized to keep my two cats from "tossing" litter out as they were digging and from spraying the wall since they like to get as close to the back of the box as possible.) I hated looking at the litter all the time and stepping on scattered litter when I got out of the shower. I was worried that a covered box would be too small, but after reading the reviews, decided to give this a try. Wow, am I glad I did! This box does it all... between the steps (which catch most) and a litter mat underneath to catch any extra, I barely have any scattered litter on my bathroom floor now. The box also helps contain the smell much better and it's wonderful that I (and my guests!) don't have to see what's inside! As an added bonus, it helps muffle the sound of the cats digging/scratching at night which used to wake me up. And the pearl color...

Fantastic!
This litterbox is fantastic! We have a 20 pound cat who is so tall he can grab stuff from 4" in off of our kitchen counter. Normal covered boxes barely fit his head, much less his entire body. He can get into this box no problem. On top of that, the steps catch a ton of litter which would otherwise wind up on our floor! I highly recommend this box.

Keep your house smelling fresh!
I really like this product. I use it in combination with the Litter Locker to keep my bathroom smelling good, and to keep litter off of the floor. The amount of litter tracked through my house went from 60 to zero. There is a little bit of effort in that whenever I clean out the bin, I vacuum the ramp, but it is much easier than vacuuming the whole house. I have heard that a few of the more timid cats are afraid of going in, and I have also heard of cats urinating on the ramp. I think that maybe their owners are not vacuuming the ramp, thus the cat thinks that the accumulated cat litter is part of the rest to go in, because I have not had that problem. Also, purchase replacement filter cartridges, because they make a huge difference in odor control. Update (7/11): This product still works great, and looks practically brand new. I thought that I'd add that all of the cats that used this litter box were female, and I never had more than two cats using it at a time. I...

I use this box for all 5 of my Cats
This Extra Giant litter box is fantastic. I have used it, along with the Van Ness Liners Van Ness Extra Giant Drawstring Cat Pan Liners 6-pack and for 5 cats. I use one litter box and this is the one. The box dimensions are high enough for our largest cat (22 lbs tabby -- just a really big boy and very long) and our littlest girl (8 lbs). I have always removed the plastic swing door as I have found this to be more of an annoyance for the cats and me (the scooper). The enclosed design of this tall box really lends itself to less tracking and more comfort for all different sizes of cats. It isn't so high that a smaller cat (or even a kitten) can't hop into the box. The Van Ness liners makes for easy litter box changes and I recommend them as an adjunct product. This...

Best On The Market
I've used Van Ness Extra Giant litter pans for years (I have four cats) and they are indeed the very best you can buy! I've tried others, but they can't compare. Talk About Improvements
When I purchased the original Litter Locker, I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Soon I was fighting with that huge wheel and the waste of bags because to use it properly, you had to turn it after every load. If not, the used litter had a tendency to clog up the wheel. Often this lead to torn bags and much frustration. Enter Litter Locker II. O.M.G.!! This thing has been totally redesigned. No more large wheel to turn and rip the bags. No wasted bag material because you are turning the wheel every time you add more waste. It's perfect. I read another review from someone who had 3 cats. If you have that many cats and only 1 Litter Locker, then I would think you would go through the bag cartridges more quickly. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have several litter boxes and a Litter Locker for each. Give the Litter Locker II a try. You won't be sorry.

Great System! *Update*
I have to say this system is genius for disposing of litter, my previous system was a tidy cats bucket with left over plastic bags and this is a huge step up from that. I would highly recommend this as it keeps odors at bay and it has a small footprint. But it's not without cons: -I have three cats and the scoop included is way too small unless I want to scoop out clumps one at a time. Obviously the handy scoop caddy on the side only fits the scoop included, both the caddy and scoop are essentially useless to me. -The opening of the unit is also too small, but if you have one cat and use the included scoop then it should be fine for you. -I go through bags faster than the manufacturer says I would. I started using this system on January 29th and February 14th I ran out of bags. I found that I need to use a new bag every 3-4 days, I could go 5 days but that's really pushing the envelope. The cost of buying replacement cartridges could become a larger expense...

Improvise. Use 10 gallon bags
I purchased this unit at Petsmart and fell in love with it on the first try. After several days, I used up the bag cartridge due to the amount of litter boxes I clean everyday. At $10.00 per cartridge, I decided to retrofit the unit by purchasing a $10.00 box of 10 gallon trash liner bags from Costco that has 500 bags in it. I just take the gray top off, throw the top of the bag over the edge, pull it down through the spring panel and put the gray top back on. It takes one minute to change out the bag and it works great. You see..... I have 10 cats and 5 litter boxes. I can't afford the cartridges if I have to change them out twice per day. You may think that it defeats the purpose, but the bags from Costco are already sealed on the bottom and 500 bags will last me more than half of a year. Try it for yourself.
