not what I thought
When I purchased Melissa and Doug mini stable it suggested I buy this too so I did but I did not read dimensions first it is not the same scale as stable I bought. The horse trailer is too small to fit horses in from the stable. The horses itcame with are more like babies plus the door on back of trailer is very hard to open and close otherwise it seems to be made well I'm just dissapointed it doesn't go with the stable Top to learn more

Little disappointing
This was a birthday gift for my son and I expected it to live up to the reputation of Melissa & Doug quality. The truck & trailer are great but the horses are CHEAP! They are cheap hollow plastic horses. The leg of one horse has already broken. Thankfully we already have some other more durable horses that he can put into the horse carrier. Top to learn more

Small - only a few horses will fit
We bought this horse trailer, along with the Schleich 4x4 vehicle with driver, for our 3 year old son for Christmas. We also bought a couple more Schleich horses for him to go with the trailer. Be advised that this trailer is very small and only certain Schleich horses will fit. If their tails or back legs are at all extended, you won't be able to shut the trailer door. This has been frustrating for our son, as only one of his horses will fit. In addition, if you are considering the 4x4 vehicle, be aware that the doors pop off very easily. When my son tries to open them, the whole door comes off. Luckily, we have been able to pop them back in - however, he prefers now to just take both the doors and the top off. Top to learn more

Really realistic, but one problem...
I am 12 and love this brand. This trailer is so realistic, but there is a problem: You can't fit all that horses. What I mean is, if you have a fat horse that is big, it won't fit nicely. Only the "normal" sized ones fit. But overall, this is a really great toy. Top to learn more

Extremely flimsy
I bought this for my 8-year-old who loves to play veterinarian. I was afraid I would break it getting it out of the packaging. It is extremely flimsy and poorly constructed; the doors don't close properly, even in the box. I have told her that she will have to be extremely careful with it or it will break.She likes it, but it is not the quality I would have expected from Breyer. Top to learn more

"This is a very fun set,"
Here is what my 6-year-old daughter says about this set: "All the horses are flocked. The colors are beautiful. You can play lots of games with them. I like to play horse rescue games. All the compartments have pictures in the background." I'll add that this set has absolutely enchanted her, to the point where she doesn't play with her larger-sized horses any more. An Excellent Gift!
I bought this last Christmas for my then 7 year old daughter. She loved it! The other children loved it. I had one mom ask me where I got such a unique item. As far as the reviewer who said that they got them for their 2 year old and the fur falls off, these aren't meant for a 2 year old. I highly suggest teaching your donkey to back out of the horse trailer in lieu of jumping out fast. Here is a video of Rio backing out of the horse trailer what a good boy just took a few training sessions to teach him how to do this.
It has custom oak cabinets , kitchen, big bathroom, mudroom,ramp, generator, two air conditioners and lots of cabinets. 98' Trailet in great condition. The bathroom is huge with a shower and lots of storage. The stalls are padded with mats covering the floor, all in great shape.
