Underrated, so much detail!
I bought my Paradise grooming set last year, and I LOVE IT! As a long-time Breyer supporter, I had my doubts about a "new" company that sold "toy" horses having accessories that I could use for my displays, but this set more than anything proved me wrong! Everything is perfect mini replicas of real-life horse equipment, and I couldn't be happier with it! It would be best given to an older child, as the small parts could be easily swallowed or lost, but a horse-crazy older kid would LOVE the realism! The brush even has real bristles! It's all very durable as well, unlike Breyer. Good job, Paradise Horses!

My favorite saddle!
I've had this soft saddle for over 2 years and it has held up to 6-12 hours of riding a week. The stirrups are useless for mounting, so I use a mounting block. But they add some security when my 14.3h Paso Fino spooks (which is often). I'm 5'8" and do not put much pressure on the stirrups, so they stay when I have adjusted them. If more pressure is put on the stirrups, while riding, they tend to slip.I originally used the saddle without the stirrups and love the the extra ridge at the front and back especially when going up and down hills. This saddle fits both my 800lb Paso Mare and our 1000lb Mountain Horse and they appreciate that it's so lightweight. I trail ride through fairly rugged, hilly terrain with this saddle and have no problem loping either.The Tough-1 saddle is great for throwing in the back of the truck or on the back of a horse, with ease.I tried a fancier, suede bareback pad with buckles on the stirrup straps and thick fleece underneath and can't use... Happy old pony
I have a 23-year-old arab/welsh pony. She belonged to our local Pony Club and is well schooled in showing and jumping. She is blind in one eye, however, and will not side-pass to that side. She also has a tendency to flip her head about to see so she is basically useless to show. I got her for my 12-year-old who has since lost interest in horses. I however, have NOT and enjoy tooling around the neighborhood with her. I've purchased both an english and western saddles for her to fit my younger daughter but didn't wish to buy a larger saddle for the little bit of riding that I do. I was in the market for a bareback pad because of expense and sizing problems.I chose this model because it appeared to be a bit more robust than the cheaper, plainer versions and because it had stirrups in case my 12-year-old wanted to ride. Good but needs some adjustments
I just bought this Bareback pad to use on a very small Rocky Mountain that my bigger heavy saddles didnt fit. The saddle fits both him and my 15h mare and is super comfy to ride. But... when cinched snug enough to use the stirrups for mounting the material in front of the "Pommel" binds down way to tight on the wither making it uncomfortable for the horse. Even placing a contour pad under it and raisng that area up before cinching doesnt help alot. I am going to split the material to see if that helps stop the binding while allowing the saddle to be cinched snug enough to use the stirrups to mount. If it was built with a wither contour it would stop the issue I think. Also the stirrups continually slip out of adjustment as you ride because the web they hang on is not a buckle system, so I have had to burn holes in the web to lace them in place. The other change I would like to see is a ring on the off side to allow the use of a standard saddle billet to buckle the cinch to or at least... Top to learn more
