it's fish food
my fish love to eat it. i love to feed it to them. they don't seem so picky, but I always buy them this same product and they've always been quite happy with receiving it. tropical fish, freshwater... tetras and mollies and the like.

My goldfish love these flakes!
Having several ponds with colorful goldfish, I need a reliable product that the fish will eat, and won't become a pond filter clog. My goldfish love this product, and snap it up quickly, looking for more. The flakes themselves are colorful, and I do believe the fishes' colors have brightened after being on a diet of these flakes. Even towards the bottom of the can, there are still large flakes that have not turned to powder like some other brands. Love the fact that I ordered them Monday and they arrived Wednesday. Am a repeat customer for this product.

Customer Video Review Length:: 1:00 Mins....and my fish don't either. for the fish lover like myself, this is just a temporary setup. these fish live in a 46 gallon planted tank. I just fed the fish an hour before, but I'm planning on changing the water today, so I added a little treat for these guys.

Fussy Fish
I bought a house last year and inherited some fish in a pond. The seller left some food behind and when the fish finally awoke from their winter sleep I gave them some of the food. There were two kinds of food--one flake and one in stick form. They didn't seem to like the stick variety so I tossed it and fed them the flakes. Inevitably I ran out of the flakes and went to purchase the same product. The Petco store was out of that brand. I picked a similar flake food and brought it home and tossed it in the pond. The fish rushed out as they usually did for food but seemed a little taken aback by this new one. I figured "different food--takes a while to adjust". The next day they seemed less interested. By the third day they didn't even bother to come out of their little cave under the waterfall. Point taken. I went to a different Petco and found the right brand and brought it home. They were a little slow trusting me but by the second feeding they were happily rushing out...

Great fish food.
TetraColor flakes are great for my fish. Their colors are bright and they are healthy and as happy as fish every look. The flakes float long enough for the top feeders to have their chance, then sink for the rest to nibble on. I've had my tank for a year and this is what my fish have been eating the whole time.

They Gobble It Up
I switched to this product recently. I have a large Tin Foil Barb, Bala Shark, and Silver Dollars which really go for this stuff. My only issue is it sinks very rapidly so they end up getting most of it off the tank floor. I had been using a similar product from Top Fin, but they prefer this.

Good food at good price
Been using this product for several years now. Not only do the Koi like it but also the turtles and the ducks. Keeps everyone happy. The size is good for both the large Koi and the babies. Some dust but that settles on the bottom and I pour that over the ducks treat which is cat food or their regular duck food. So nothing goes to waste. I feed 4 times a day and in small amounts and my pond water is crystal clear. The coloring of the fish is bright and they are all healthy. Good product and like the price and the size of the bag. I am 71 and don't handle heavy bags. I am happy!

Excellent!
Agree with the other reviewers. This is good koi food for a really good price. Do you want growth or sustenance only? Check the protein content of the food, if you want growth you need a higher percentage of protein. I use higher protein for summer and lower protein for spring and autumn. To ensure that my koi have a well balanced diet, I mix my food, I buy color enhancing food for the spring and summer and use lesser foods for autumn when they're powering down. I also feed them krill as treats. So in summary, I basically use this food as filler and use higher protein or coloring food at different times. Most important of all, my fish have no complaints and gobble this up!

They loved it!
On my previous job we had a pond with dozens of Koi fishes. No one was feeding them, so they fought for anything that would come in contact with water. Water temperature was warm enough (Los Angeles - 90+ degrees) for fish to be fed on a daily basis. They really loved this and, while I was working, they were healthy, strong, and happy :)
