Dog harness
I purchased this Puppia harness for my Boston Terrier who likes to pull while walking on the leash. The harness does not stop the pulling, but at least it put an end to the embarrassing choking noises. My dog does not mind wearing the harness, as it is very soft and comfortable. To top it off, I think it is quite stylish. I am completely happy with my purchase. I would recommend this harness to others who have a small dog.

Great harness for small dogs!
I have tried several different harnesses on my two Bichons. Either they wear out quickly or don't stand up to being washed, or both. The Puppia harness is durable, does not choke, easy to put on and take off and my dogs are perfectly happy to keep it on for a few hours if needed. They do not try to chew it like they have some others.I highly recommend this harness.

Works Great for our Jack Russell Terrier
I have bought a lot of stuff online, and I have written a lot of reviews. This is by FAR the best thing I ever bought. Our Jack Russel Terrier is a 20 lb ball of muscle, and pulls so hard his tongue turns blue. Someone told me about this type of collar so I thought I'd give it a try.Well I tried it today for the first time and it worked like a charm! He didn't pull at ALL, and the collar did not seem to bother him at all! His walk is about one mile and for the first time ever, the whole mile was a pleasure. It's as if he never pulled before. Even as I write this I am still blown away at how well it worked. In the past, all the training we used to try only worked temporarily. As soon as he got a whiff of something interesting all the training went out the window. I Can Finally Walk My Boxer!
I have a 9 month old Boxer who is so strong that I would not take her for walks for fear of one of us being injured. Luckily we have a great yard set up for her where she gets plenty of exercise, but I missed being able to go on walks with her as she grew bigger and stronger.I saw this harness on a dog training show on tv and decided it was worth a try. On the show it was used on a boxer that was even crazier than my dog and it appeared to have an instant effect. I decided it was worth a try. The first walk I took her on made me a believer. When she starts to pull it lifts her front legs off the ground and she can't get anywhere. The impact on both me and the dog is minimal. I now feel that I have the control to be able to take her on walks with my two small children. I highly recommend this harness.

It's magic!
I bought the Sporn mesh harness for my mixed shepherd puppy. She wasn't too bad walking on a regular leash/collar, but there were times (like walking home from the park!) where she would pull hard. I swore she was going to hurt herself, and with a regular leash/collar it's impossible to give corrections. So I decided to invest in a harness which would allow me to correct her those times when she pulled. I chose the Sporn mesh harness because it looked more comfortable than a standard all nylon strap harness. I just returned from a walk to the park with her and all I can say is that she walked like a new dog! Not exactly sure how it works to stop the pulling, but it's like magic! She never really pulled at all. A few times I thought she was going to pull, but she'd just stop, wait a second or two and then start again. Coming home she walked beside me the whole way. I would strongly recommend this harness.

This had made walking my 100# dog enjoyable
My dog is reasonably well behaved but the instant he sees another dog when we're out walking he pulls so hard I'm afraid he's going to damage my shoulders. I tried several different anti-pulling harnesses and collars and this one worked perfectly! At one point I tried the Gentle Leader head collar, but my dog hated having something on his face so this harness version was much better for him. Since the leash attaches at the dog's chest and contracts if the dog pulls, there are two benefits: (1) When the dog pulls, the harness contracts around the front legs making walking awkward so it breaks their attention on whatever they were pulling towards, and (2) since the leash attaches at the chest, when the dog pulls it snaps him around to face you which gives you a chance to correct him and redirect his attention. Ultimately, the dog's weight works against him versus the owner having to pull back. Now when my dog sees another dog and goes to pull, he immediately stops and rethinks that...

I will never use a choke chain again - this works better!
This harness is phenomenal. I was a skeptic but I wish I bought it two years ago. My dog is a large, strong and athletic 3.5 year old and I struggled over the past two years we've had him to teach him leash manners. We have made a lot of progress but walking him was still a chore and he pulled excessively when he saw other dogs. I have had to use a choke chain even though I was uncomfortable doing so, and was constantly having to readjust it so it was on the right place of his neck. With this harness, he does NOT try to walk in front, he does NOT try to stop and investigate every single mailbox and telephone poll, and we can approach other dogs at MY pace, not his. The harness works because it tightens across his front shoulders. If he tries to go to the side (to sniff something) or out in front (to get somewhere faster) a *gentle* tug clinches his front legs and he responds immediately. It sets the tone for the entire walk and makes the walk relaxing and enjoyable for the human, too...

Works well to limit pulling....
I heard about this product on the Cool Tools blog and was pretty interested. I had tried the Gentle Leader that wraps around a dogs head, but my dog hated it (I didn't like it much either) and would refuse to wear it.I tried this one after my dog was slightly injured my a neighbors dog and the vet suggested we avoid any pressure on her neck for a while. This worked immediately and my dog loves it!!It works very well for limiting her from pulling during a normal walk. The only thing I don't like is that it's not quite as good as a standard collar as far as keeping her inline when we are just standing around talking to people as it doesn't really control her head at all. At the same time I'm not restraining her neck and "pulling" on her which I've always hated.I would highly recommend it for anyone that has a dog that tries to pull a little too much.

Design limited, head size important
This harness seems sturdy and serves its function well, but a design limitation that you should consider before buying it is that the neck portion is fixed in size and cannot be adjusted or snapped on. According to the specs on the manufacturer's Korean Puppia web site, a medium corresponds to a 13" neck; and I found that the medium harness indeed fits snugly and well for our dog who weighs 20 lbs and has a 12-13 inch neck. The problem comes when you try to put the harness on. Unless your dog has a smaller head than neck, good luck trying to thread your dog's head through the "eye of the needle".

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Of course, everyone always has suggestions on what you're doing wrong when you have a dog that just can't seem to stop pulling. I know how it feels, because I have one of those dogs. Regardless of consistant training (mine and hers,) this was the only thing that we just couldn't seem to conquer. Many suggested the "Gentle" Leader (among other things,) but after much training and size readjustments she was STILL managing to pull it off her muzzle and rub her little sniffer to a bloody mess.Finally, I saw this harness and figured I might as well give it one last chance. I am SO glad I did!!! First time out, she had it. I was stunned. I knew she was a champion!!! : )UPDATE...I still think this a great product, but do have one warning. My dog went swimming while wearing her harness and afterwards, we continued on our walk. When we got home, the wet harness had rubbed her raw underneath her "armpits." Life Saver
I adopted a 90 lbs but very sweet monstrosity of a dog. He loves to walk and apparently doesn't care that I can't keep up with him. He would constantly pull on the leash and either drag me off balance, choke himself or both. I got this with the hope of keeping him from choking on this collar, but instead got a lovely surprise that he doesn't like to lunge away from me anymore. At first I put the thing on backwards intentionally, not understanding why the leash attached where it did (at the front, chest area), but once I put the thing on the right way, he would lunge and not be able to get his front legs out stretched in front of him, so couldn't complete the lurching motion. He fell over a few times, but figured out quickly that this was not something he could do any longer. Fantastic Product
We recently took a two day trip with our beloved hound-thing and two dachshunds. Our hound is thirteen and is no longer steady on his feet so I wanted a device to keep him in the backseat without restricting his movement much, while also restraining him quickly and safely if we had to stop suddenly. This was the perfect answer. He didn't mind the harness, it is padded so it didn't hurt him or cut into his chest and shoulders(he gets choked with a collar), he could change positions and sides of the seat during the eight hour drives, and all we had to do was unclip the harness from the strap attached to the seatbelt when we walked him. The fit was true to size for him. We also purchased two harnesses for the dachshunds. Because of their deep chests and long backs the small was too small and the medium was a bit problematic as well. The dog stays put
The reason I bought this item was because my dog was running all over the backseat and kept trying to get into the front seat when I drove. I can't believe it, but now he gets in the car, and waits for me to put his vest on. I think he loves it. Sturdy, but limited movement
I ordered this particular product because the one we had felt a little flimsy. What appealed to me about the new harness were the metal, not plastic, clips. It is a very sturdy product and the only reason I've given it 4 and not 5 stars is that somehow my dog can barely move around once it is on. Now I understand that is probably the point, but all I want is a little extra mobility so that she can lie down - and not be locked into a sitting position for a long trip.
