Basic Necessity for a City Dog
If you have a medium sized doggie and are looking for a crate because you live in an apartment, this particular model is a good choice. Crate training is amazingly simple (just don't use it for punishment--make it a happy experience when your puppy go into his crate). We have been using this for two months, and he takes to it easily.1. Easy to put together and fold away. Solid black e-coat steel wire, conjoined with small metal plates with welded corners facing out. It comes with a slightly smaller divider that you can hook to the insides of the crate. As our puppy got bigger, we moved the divider and eventually removed it.2. The two doors (one on the long end is off-centered) are not removable and opens only one way so it's not omni-directional when you place it in tight spaces. Great crate
I bought this crate for my 30-lb beagle/terrier mix dog and it's great. It folds up in a cinch (it's literally 3 steps and takes about 10 seconds max) and has carry handles on the side, so it's really easy to transport. I like having the 2 doors so I have options of how I can place the crate in a room. There are latches on the top and bottom of each door so it's very secure. Great crate!

Nice, sturdy crate, easy to set up, inexpensive
I purchased this crate from Petsmart for my newly adopted dog. They size these crates based on dog weight, but I would measure your dog to make sure they fit.My dog is less than 45 lbs, but his head touches the top of this crate when he sits up. He has room to lay down, but he can't really stretch out. I am ordering the next size up from Amazon for him however, and will use this one as a travel crate.It set up in less than a minute, and everything works very well on it. The crate seems very sturdy and I've had no problems at all.

Awesome create, great price!
It sure is a good thing I checked amazon.com for dog creates before spending almost twice as much at a major pet store! This crate is perfect in every way. It's very well made and the price can't be beat. The bottom plastic tray can be easily removed for cleaning and the crate collapses very easily. It's pretty easy to open and close with the double sliding locking mechanism, and it comes with a partition so it can grow with your puppy. I can't imagine housetraining our now-five-month-old puppy without it! We love this create, and so does our puppy.Addition 1/2011: This crate is still standing strong and has proven itself to hold up against a strong dog, us bumping up against it, moving it, collapsing it, and cleaning it. It's perfect!

Huge Crate!
I recently purchased the 42x28x30 crate for my 4 month old German Shepherd. He was quickly growing out of his smaller crate as he is already over forty pounds. I was unsure before ordering whether this would be a sufficiently sized crate for my dog when he is mature. I will tell you we joking call this his condo because it is huge. I am 5'3" and 110 lbs. and me and my dog could fit in this crate (we actually did lol!). Plus the free divider makes it great as a training crate. If you are considering a crate for a large breed dog like a German Shepherd, this is a great crate for your dog. It is also very sturdy and easy to set up. I am so happy that I saved money and got a great crate!

An excellent value and a sturdy little crate
I watch my neighbor's toy dog everyday when I am not traveling. I like to tell people that we have a "joint custody" arrangement. She has a large crate at her home for the dog to spread out in, but since she chews on things (the dog, not my neighbor) I needed a little one for the times when I leave the dog alone in my house. Also, she needed a travel-sized crate for car trips.When I found this dog crate on Amazon I was curious as to how well made it could be for such a low price (I got the smallest one, 18x14x12). When it arrived the next day I was really pleased with how easy it was to set up. No tools, no wing nuts, just lift the sides up and snap it together. It is perfect for my needs. Bella, a little Yorkie, is fully grown and can stand up in it just fine. I now have a fleece liner for it and sometimes she walks in there on her own and hangs out in her little house. A wonderful crate.
I am very pleased with this crate. It erected easily within moments, is extremely sturdy and big enough for all but, possibly, the giant breeds. My Rottweiler can lie down stretched out, if that is her preference, and can stand up without hunching over. She loves this crate far better than her plastic airline type crate as she has better visibility and I believe that she feels less confined. It is also much cooler in the heat of the summer than the plastic crate.The only caveat that I would add is, if your pooch is an escape artist, you might want to put an additional clip or two on the door. The fasteners are fine for most dogs but I know my Border Collie would figure a way to open that door in no time flat. This is not a major criticism, by any means---I heartily recommend this crate. Also, the price is good when you consider the free shipping. I've seen this item listed for much less money but by the time you add the shipping (this crate is heavy!), you will...

Nice Crate
This is a nice dog crate. It folds up easily to transport. It includes a divider, so that one can adjust the size of the crate as the puppy grows. The divider is a bit of a pain to install and adjust, but it works well. The crate also has a pull out tray at the bottom. The tray is easy to remove for cleaning. The crate also has some removable handles. They work well when the crate is set up and you want to move it across the room, but I haven't found a good way to attach the handles when the crate is folded up. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and delivery was very fast.

On December 5, I bought a 36/24/27, single door, dog crate to prepare for our lab puppy to be picked up on Christmas Eve. Do to unfortunate circumstances, our puppy came home on December 8th! The following day the Midwest Life Stages Crate arrived - I was so very happy to receive it so soon. I noticed the pan had been cracked in shipping and notified the seller, JB Wholesale Pet Supplies.Not only did JB Wholesale Pet Supplies, send a replacement pan right out in the mail, but they actually called me on the phone and apologized for any inconvenience, talked with me about puppy training, and wished us well with our new puppy.The crate training is working well, the Lab is safe and our socks get respite! My new shelter rescue dog loves this bed so much---I bought two!
This bed is the perfect size for my 25 lb. shelter rescue. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the family room, either. I like the natural color. I also bought one for my upstairs computer room. He enjoys both. I like that the sides aren't too high so he can hang over the edge. And, yet it's not just a flat blanket. It's an actual bed and has a shape. I wish they made this in the exact same width except about 18-19" long, so I can put two side-by-side on the backseat of my car. Oh, well.

Great Bed
I bought this bed for my cat. She is extremely spoiled, and has other beds from other vendors, but this one is the best I've purchased. The reason - the thickness. It really has additional padding on the bottom, which makes it extra cozy and warm. When she first saw it, she ran over, sniffed it, laid down on it, and purred for about 15 minutes. Since the initial time, she spends quite a bit of time on it. If you are a sucker for your pets like I am, buy this particular bed. BTW, they wash up great. Vacuum them off, throw them in the washer and dryer and done.

Washable Dog Bed
I have 3 of these beds in various sizes, one for each of our dogs. The best part about them is that they can be easily washed and dried at home, even the 36" size. And, of course it is nice that my dogs love them too. The beds are not very thick, but dogs can be found to lie on a bare floors and so this has to be better. I have bought thick padded beds in the past and my dogs did not use them as much as these. These seem just enough for my dogs, and they can be easily topped with a folded blanket if you have a dog that likes more padding. Almost forgot, the dogs love to rest their heads on the tubular rim of the beds.

Mid-West crates are the best
This is the 3rd or 4th Midwest crate I've ordered and and they are all wonderful. I have several sizes and really love the crates with the side and end doors. You have more options in placement of the crate. The divider panel really comes in handy when I'm potty training, too. With four dogs of all shapes and sizes--Great Pyreenes down to a Maltese--I highly recommend any crates by Midwest. They are perfect for training. My dogs love them and use them every night. They also like them when it's thundering and lightning. After their last night potty outside, they crowd around their crates and can't wait for me to open them up so they can bed down for the night. (Doesn't help that they each have 2-3 treats waiiting for them inside.)

Good Choice
We just got a 7 week old mini doxie puppy and bought this crate both as a housebreaking tool and a "bedroom". The fact that it has a divider screen makes it perfect for both. You can make the crate smaller for a young puppy to discourage eliminating in the cage and yet you don't need to buy a new crate when he is full grown. You just take the divider out. It is a very sturdy pen for the money, yet portable because it folds flat. I know I sound like an ad but I am just saying that all the things the company says about it are true.

As Advertized
Got this to travel with Great Dane puppy. Set up and broke down very easily, especially considering my all thumbs approach to such items. Could easily be carried by one adult to the car. Did not attempt to use it along the way - remained folded during trip. But set up very nicely at the destination. I used the second largest and, at 4.5 months, the dog still sees it as home and stays all night with minimum complaint. My only surprise was that, in its folded state and as compact as it is, it still takes considerable space in our crossover vehicle to accommodate. We ended up standing it up and bungying to the side of the cargo compartment.

Best price!
This is an awesome carrier at an awesome price! Super easy to put together, and super sturdy. I haven't experienced the flimsiness with the door and having to bend the plastic that one of the other reviewers mentioned. Everything fits together very smoothly, and it's very roomy inside. The colors are very nice and it looks way more expensive than it was. My puppy is learning to like it, too.One thing I will say is pay attention to the sizing. It says large, but they recommend use for dogs (or cats) under 25 lbs, so I wouldn't call it large and I wouldn't get it if you have a large breed puppy. It's fine for my puppy though, she has more than enough room and space to grow so it works for me!Also, I highly recommend [..](who seem to be the only ones selling this for such a good price, but order it from Amazon because I think it's more expensive on their website last I checked!) Fine Kennel
This is a fine lightweight kennel. Our small 14lb dog fits in it perfectly.The door is a bit flimsy, by that I mean the pins that insert into the top and bottom of the box dont always line up with their holes, and you bend the plastic cage slightly to make it fit. No real problem with that, but it is a bit flimsy.
