Love it!
Have been using this for 2 weeks and my skin feels super clean and smooth! It's expensive, but I figure by using the brush, at least I no longer have to buy scrubbing creams to exfoliate. It could just be wishful thinking, but I'm convinced it's somehow erasing my laugh lines; will have to watch that over the longer term. And I have sensitive skin, but this is surprisingly gentle -- you don't really scrub your face with it... the sonic technology seems to do the work for you.The only downside is that the beep settings take a while to get used to (you have to set your preferences by setting the beep tones, sort of confusing -- why no real buttons?), not such a big deal once you get it set the way you plan to use it.Positives: Skin feels clean, smooth, and tingly; can use in shower; wrinkle remover?Negatives: ExpensiveOverall, great product.

So Far, So Good!
I purchased the Clarisonic after much frustration with my skin.. I am 34yrs old and my skin is prone to breakouts, and is very congested with small bumps under it, I am always using scrubs and peels in an attempt to bring the bumps to the surface, which has varying results.. often my skin becomes irritated from the scrubs and the result is pretty bad looking, uneven, bumpy skin. I have spent plenty of money over the years on various products that haven't really worked, and facials etc etc. I did use ProActiv - which helped with the acne but I find it just way too drying for prolonged use. Not to mention the hassle of ordering it. I also tried Retin-A prescribed by dermatologist on the bumps.. that sort of works, but it makes the skin irritated and peel and I cannot use it on a regular basis.So.. after reading many good reviews, I decided to give the Clarisonic a try. Just as gentle as sensitive brush head but deeper clean
Clarisonic recently came out with this new deep pore cleansing brush head saying: "Ideal for cleansing oily skin, large pores or hard to reach areas of the face, such as around the nose. Gentle enough for daily use." Souonds perfect! But my only question was is it as gentle as your sensitive brush head because the normal brush head is too harsh for my face? Well I decided to take the plunge and try it. I am happy to say that I find it not any harsher or rather just as gentle as the sensitive brush head. There is more pulling/stretching of the skin as that it how it does the deep pore cleansing action with some bristles moving in opposite directions! Awesome Customer Service
I purchased this item through Amazon but, from a different dealer. I started having problems with the unit when using the body brush within a couple of months of purchase. It would lose it's charge after about a minute, the body cycle is suppose to last 3 minutes. Finally, I just started using the facial brush exclusively, I get occasional cystic acne and the Clarisonic was doing a great job clearing it up and stopping the outbreaks. Alas, the unit charge kept depleting over time, within 9 months of purchase, after letting it charge for a week it would die within seconds of me pushing the power button. I am one of those people that never fills out the warranty card, so, I figured I was totally hosed and was stuck with a $200.00 paper weight. However, I took the chance and called Clarisonic's customer service, they asked me what the problem was, had me read the serial number off the unit, told me I had a two year warranty on the Plus model and shipped me the new one, asked me to mail...

I purchased this same product from Ebay (sorry Amazon!) and I LOVE it! I use it every week and cannot say enough good things about this kit. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Now I'm in my thirties, and I know my acne is triggered by hormones, stress, hair and makeup products, and exposure to gluten. Worth Every Penny!
When I was a teenager and in my 20s I was one of the lucky ones and never had issues with my skin, as it was clear and normal 99% of the time. It wasn't until I hit my 30s that the problems began (I'm 35 now.) For whatever reason, I would get breakouts in places I NEVER did before, like my chin, my jawline, and my temples, and no matter which products I used or how much I tried to do the clean/astringent routine, my skin would still go through the cycle of clearing up and then breaking out a little bit again and again. My skin progressively got drier and flakier, became what I would call faintly "blotchy" (even though I do not sunbathe or tan and keep my face out of the sun most of the time...) and I haven't been able to get certain pores clear for the life of me! A Skincare Must!
This is one of those products that you have to try to really believe. I work as a typist and don't make a lot of money, where my pay varies on how much work I do vs. hourly/salary. Let's just say... I don't take quick showers anymore!! Taking care of my skin is a life-long investment.
PROS+ Easy to use, easy to handle, not heavy. Clarisonic is like a mechanical toothbrush.+ There are two buttons, one to turn it on/off, and the other is good for the speeds. For the "Pro" Model, there are 3 speeds for the faces, and 2 speeds for the body.+ 60-Second timer for your face, which is plenty of time to fully remove make up, so my white towels stay white when drying off. I can no longer be lazy to wash my make up off before going to bed. I can see that my pores are clean and it feels like my facial products, like moisturizers, can work more effectively now.+ 3-Minute timer for your body, so I will focus on one part of the body each day, or use it multiple times in one long shower. I hate scrubbing my body with a loofah sponge or a face towel. Let's just say... Works very well, compact and space saving
I like the Mia for it's smaller size and portability. My sister has the Clarisonic Plus, but I am much more frugal than she is so I bought the Mia for the better price tag. There are some considerable differences between the 2 products, here are a few:1) One cycle runs for 1 minute then turns off on the Mia. You are able to set the cycle for the Plus for 1 or 2 minutes. Additionally, the Plus beeps when you are supposed to move to a different area of your face. You can always just run the cycle again on the Mia if it's not long enough though.2) The Mia is smaller, though the brushhead is the same diameter. The Mia is also much lighter than the Plus.3) The Mia has a powercord (attaches magnetically to the unit and is waterproof where it attaches), the Plus has a cradle.4) You cannot use the body brush with the Mia (biggest disadvantage for me, as I didn't realize this when I purchased it).All in all, if you are just...
