A GOOD BIRD FOOD WHICH MEETS OUR NEEDS - WITH MODIFICATIONS
We have been using this Kaytee product, along with other Kaytee products for a number of years now. I should not though that we buy this stuff in the 40 pound bags rather than the 10 pound ones featured here. We have a rather massive and extensive wild bird feeding program on our place with a large number of feeders scattered over six acres of woodland and orchard.The birds do seem to like this stuff and the mixture is such that it attracts a large number of species. (I have identified 35 separate species just at the feeders close to our house throughout the year. (We feed year round). This food is excellent to use in various types of feeders and the waste is quickly gobbled up by the more ground dwelling birds.It should be noted that we also use Pennington products and pretty much go with what is on sale at the local stores at any given time. Birds seem to love it. I'm not going to eat it...
For the price, this was the best bird food I could find on Amazon. It has a nice variety of seeds that birds seem to love. I put it in my seedbox and they flock to it. It has sunflower seeds that they love eating, plus other smaller type of seeds. Seems to attract the smaller birds so far.It's a 10 lb bag so is quite heavy and does not reseal, which is unfortunate. Most people are not going to use 10 lbs at one time. Selling a product is not always about the product itself, but also the packaging and the creativity that goes into that as well. I suggest pouring the feed in a tupperware container or something that seals, as I already spilled it once and that was not a fun clean-up. That being said, I still rated this as a 5 for the good price and birds love it.

MOST EATEN SEED OF ALL
I bought this along with 3 other seeds and I have to say this was the seed that was eaten the fastest. I used 2 other mixes, 1 from the same company which was the 2nd fasted eaten seed and an Audubon. The 3rd fastest eaten seed was . Birds love this stuff
I was really hoping to get some cardinals, blue jays, and woodpeckers back into my yard by putting this feed out, but I have found that some other birds really like it as well. We have a lot of little birds (maybe finches based on chests that appear yellowish) that have been frequenting the yard in large groups to hang out at the feeders. When they spill it on the ground, the wild doves come and forage down there, so we got an added bonus. I would recommend getting a good squirrel spray unless you want to feed them too, because they also appear to like it a bit too much.

it works!
I was skeptical about the "squirrel proof" claims, but the birds like this seed, ESP. Cardinals, and the squirrels ignore it. It's more expensive but I'm going through less.

Great Deal!
This seed is a favorite with the cardinals, finch, woodpeckers and sparrows. It has less sunflower seed than expected which is what seems to attract the brilliant colored songbirds but it's a nice companion seed for a multiple feeder yard to the sunflower seed.

It was good. Birds like it. Seems like it attracted different birds than the last seed I bought. Lots of the black birds with red on their wings and other black birds that we don't like, but it may just be that the black birds just now started coming to the feeder.

Used for last 13 years!
This has been my Blue Fronted Amazon parrots base food for over 13 years and he has always been in perfect health. Although he gets a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, pasta and a taste of virtually everything we eat, this food is always available to him and he eats it every day.The quality of this food is well known and used by many successful breeders and pet owners. Must have!
I have always feed my birds another ahemm name brand and they were just ok looking birds with little color. Now that I feed my birds ZUPREEM they seem to have gotten brighter feathers in a few weeks. It did take some of them almost 4 days to accept the change because the other brand was mostly seeds. But I mixed ZUPREEM half and half with their other food and within 4 days left out the other brand. It made them happier too it seems :) they are singing all the time now too.

Seems to satisfy
I'd say the birds and a couple resident squirrels, LOVE THIS FOOD! They all look healthy. They come back everyday and some of them stick around through out the day. A couple of the baby doves actually sit down in the seeds after eating, it's such a lovely thing to see. The birds fill up on the seeds and leave the grapes I have growing alone.....I hope it works for the apple tree in November. :-D
