Pleasantly Suprised!
Well, after reading lots of reviews about similar products, I decided to purchase this one- even though some had stated that it wasn't very good. First let me point out that there are no directions with this feeder- so really it's best to follow the advice of others that have posted reviews as far as the best way to hang the feeder. I put the feeder up, put in some food, and waited. A few hours later we heard a crash! I was horrified that my brand new feeder had crashed down and shattered into a billion pieces. I should probably add that I live in a dormitory on the third floor with both grass and cement below us. I was very relieved to find the feeder still completely in tack...and was able to find the suction cups nearby as well. I then went back and found some of the reviews that suggest how to prepare the window and suctions cups so the feeder will stay in place. I washed the window very well, and washed the suction cups in warm soapy water. I let both air dry completely...

A great little feeder
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:04 MinsI have been pleasantly surprised with this little feeder. As you can see in the video clip, the feeder can be filled to the brim with seeds and hold 2 birds and still not fall. In fact, I have had two of these feeders on my windows for well over three months and have yet to have them fall off. The birds enjoy eating out of these feeders - despite the fact our cats leap into the window trying to attack them. They provide hours of entertainment.

Birds and people love it
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:04 MinsInstallation was a breeze. I cleaned the window well, then stuck on the suction cups. It didn't take the birds long to find it. We've had Chickadees, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Titmouse, and more. We have a cat that often sits in that windowsill and it doesn't deter the birds from eating. (Don't worry, the window is always closed, and he can't get to the birds.)

Bird Kabob
My parrotlet absolutely loves this toy. He just latches on to it and tries to shred it apart. He does make a bit of a mess with it, but at least it keeps him entertained. This toy will last him awhile since he is so small. This is a good buy to keep your bird from being bored.

I don't have the book in my hands yet (my daughter just sent me a link to Zuckerman's astonishing website - go see both the photographs and his film). I'm a lifelong ornithologist and bibliophile, and I've never seen anything like this man's work. Were they, indeed, photos or were they a whole new kind of superrealistic, microscopically detailed paintings? I couldn't tell. The sense of astonishment with this work is not just the vividness of the white backgrounds that isolate the subjects; it's equally, again and again, the startling perspectives on the bird's body and plumage. With each picture, you see birds as you have never seen them before. It's not easy to do genuinely original work is a field already so saturated. This man has done it.

Brilliant design & photography
The quality of this book is absolutely astounding. The photography is superb; incredible detail, color, interesting compositions. Even though the photographs are on a completely white background they have a crispness, and vibrance due to the careful lighting. The page design is excellent, wonderful contrast of sizes, shapes, color and great use of the white space. Oh, and the birds? Beautiful. A reminder of how amazing natural creatures are, how detailed the plumage, the delicacy of color, the silkiness of black feathered birds, and then the quirky details of theirs beaks, claws or other amazing details the photographer has picked out to show us. A very impressive project, beautifully executed.

Wonderful Gift...Hard to Read...
I got this as a Christmas present for a friend of mine. The message of the pendant dealt directly with our relationship...yet when i got the pendant, the inscription was hard to read. Its slightly smaller than expected, but the gift was appreciated. Also, beware of fingerprints. I loved the necklace when I got it, and I still love it, even though it has a few drawbacks. Its the message that means more than anything to me. :o)
