Wonderful!
This is a beautiful piece of furniture even if you do not use it for a fish tank. We ended up using it as a printer stand because our fish seem to be better off in a higher spot away from our cats! However, it is very sturdy.Assembly is fairly easy.Petco kind of dropped the ball in that the first one that was sent was broken, and the second one was sent with incorrect pieces. However, the third time was the charm. Despite the issues, they were easy to deal with.I do recommend this!

Strong stand!
I have 2 of these stands. 1 29G & 1 10G and they are fantastic! Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks great. I did a lil bit of customizing on mine. I took some old black curtains and covered the opening (where I hide the buckets, nets, etc) If you have someone who can work a sewing machine it's easy (my mother) cut the curtains attached some magnets and BAM...an even better looking stand (pics in gallery). If you want a strong aquarium stand look no further. The leveling feet is an added bonus IMO.

Great stand!

This ia a nice sized product with a decent amount of storage space, and it looks nice. The size is good. The main negatives are that it came with several scratches, takes over an hour to put together and, most importantly, if it gets any water on it that doesn't get wiped off very quickly, there will be a slight amount of bubble damage at the surface (not a great quality for an aquarium stand). However, if aware of this and careful to clean up quickly, it isn't a major problem, and the scratches were easily covered with a mood marker pen.Overall, it is a good product for the money.

The Stand That Stands Up
This is a nice looking, sturdy stand. Perfect for the purpose. Accepting the fact that this item is being shipped to me I accepted the reality that the box would have to withstand some man-handling. Upon arrival the box was in good shape. I guess this item is too heavy to throw around; helps to have another person to move it into the house. The only issue that I have with the product is its packaging. The top board showed some wear on its surface. Looks like friction wore an inch of the wood stain off. I touched it up but an aquarium will be covering this spot so it isn't a huge deal. One other board had a nick in it but the section with the blemish is concealed by another board. Bottom line: I would recommend this stand. It's easy to put together, and it looks great.

Rock Solid - looks great
I got the 29 gallon version and put it together myself. It's exactly what I wanted, extremely sturdy, looks good, and it's waterproof. Not flimsy at all. I have a Fluval Edge 12 gallon aquarium, but I got this larger stand because I wanted the extra storage capacity. With this I can keep ALL my aquarium supplies (including a large bucket) stored out of sight underneath in my living room. I'm glad I got it.

Well built, excellent product.
Let me first say that I worked at an aquarium store for 3 years during college. I've seen many different types of stand build by all different types of manufacturers. This stand is top notch. I sold well over 100 of these step-up's and except for the occasional split seam on an aquarium, I never saw any issues, and never have a seen a stand fail.One reviewer (the only other reviewer at the time of posting) said this stand was cheap and would likely "fall over" if hit by a child or dog. I would greatly beg to differ.The stand is made from fiberboard not to cut costs, but rather to increase waterproofing and stability. It's much easier for companies to treat a wood pulp and then press it into boards than it is to treat natural wood. The polyurethane coating on the fiber board is also very scratch resistant and adds an additional dimension of waterproofing should something spill during something like a tank cleaning.
