Beautiful
I bought this light to replace the light in my son's Marina glowfish aquarium. The light the aquarium came with was just too dark so I bought it crossing my fingers it would light up the tank and that's just what it did. The tank looks bright and brilliant almost as if it were out side in the sunlight. I even think his little blue betta fish (Cherrio) is happier too. If you've got the appropriate Marina fish tank (because it is a proprietary product) then this light is just great.

Awesome light!
This light is awesome! I ordered it because it is an option for my daughter's new Marina Mermaid 2.65 gallon aquarium purchased at PetSmart. The light is meant to work with Marina plastic aquariums. I like that it installs on the inside of the lid with only a small clip showing on the outside of the lid. The LED's are beautiful and really makes the small fish tank come to life. The betta and 2 African Dwarf frogs in the tank look spectacular! Great price as well!

Light for daughters aquarium bought on Amazon.com (FIRST TIME PURCHASE)
This light came very quick without additonal charges which was awesome of service. Product was just as wonderful. Only down fall is that there isn't an on/off switch on the cord. But besides that it makes an awesome night light as well as really lights up the fish. So far so GREAT!!!

Great moonlight for 29 gallon aquarium
I purchased this for a 29 gallon aquarium (30" long by 12" wide by 18" deep), and it provides plenty of light. I used the included self-stick pads to mount it on the back side of my existing aquarium lighting fixture. This is what I like about this moonlight:1. Plenty of bluish light for this size aquarium; great moonlight effect.2. Power supply is included, and attaches to the LED light itself via a small plug. The cord is at least 6 ft. long.3. There is an on/off switch included (on the power supply cord).4. The cylindrical light clips into (or out of) a mounting bracket, and the light can be easily rotated in the bracket to direct the light at the best angle.5. The mounting bracket comes with small screws and self-stick pads for easy attachment to an existing fixture. Sweet
This little 5 LED moonlight lights my 56 gallon column tank perfectly. I think this unit lights more realistically and better than my 20 LED moonlight I purchased on another tank last year. The ability to mount this light wherever and rotate it til your liking is a huge plus.

Excellent LED Moonlight for 20G Aquarium
I had originally bought this for my smaller 5G aquarium and it worked very well, but I now use it on my new 20G and it still lights up the aquarium very nicely at night: a cool shimmering blue light. I leave it on 24/7: you don't see it during the day with the larger daylight lamp on, but that way if you use a timer you don't have to turn it on and off manually. I do not have an algae problem by doing this.

Review three months after purchase
I have used this light for a 10 gallon tropical fishtank for the last three months and am very pleased. I have fairly easy-to-maintain aquatic plants which are all growing very well even without CO2, although I use fertilizer and iron sometimes. Only some of the the very small foreground plants struggle a little bit. At first it seemed that the light does not reach into all corners of the tank but the plants seemed to grow regardless. I had to prune plants several times. The design is very sleek and there is no heat created by the light. LED gives the water a beautiful shimmer. Fish look nice, but the colors are not quite as brilliant as in my other fish tank with flourescent lights. Interestingly the less colorful fish look better. Although all fish and plants are doing well I wish it were a tad brighter to bring out the colors of the fish.After one year: It works very well for planted aquarium and seems to cause less algae growth than flourescent light.

Would definitely recommend.
I bought the Double Bright 18-24, for a 20H planted tank. As a techie I have to say I like the move forward to LEDs. In theory they should be more efficient. In this case these lights are quite a lot brighter than their fluorescent counterparts, although the light dispersal pattern is a lot narrower. This could very easily be remedied by changing the reflectors for future models. I have only seen one unofficial spectrum sheet, but supposedly these lights do cover the proper wavelengths for peak absorption. I have a few plants that require intense light and they certainly haven't suffered from the change, although growth rate remains the same. The nightlight function was another factor that heavily influenced my decision to buy this product, and I have certainly not been disappointed. The light itself is dark enough to let the tank inhabitants sleep/roam in peace, yet you can still watch them. The shimmer/water ripple effect is certainly interesting but a bit overblown, it...

My need was for a small 10 gallon "hospital" tank [one of three in the house].Cheap setup (purposefully so)Lighting was horrible - one 25w incandescent (or maybe halide) orange tube bulb and a bluish CFL 10w "coral life" [kept blowing CFLs left and right when running two CFLs in the fixture, so that's how the orange tube bulb stuck around]I saw this LED aquarium light here on Amazon. Already a HUGE fun of GOOD [which usually means expensive] LED lighting. I already use super high end [$90/bulb] Edison replacements and 16w LED shop lights as 48" florescent 40w bulb replacements.I liked the thin bar design and the low energy 9w design. Ordered for the small tank, and it came today.I really like the brightness of the 9w II mode - very bright - appears good enough lumens for good plant and algae growth. Great little light, for half the price.
I bought one of these lights locally. Its great. Provides plenty of light, and even has hinges on the brackets allowing you to easily flip up the fixture for maintenance and cleaning. The brackets are also adjustable, so you don't need them at the end, or use them at all. At nearly half the price of the GLO lighting, I feel this is a better deal. I am currently planning to buy more for my other tanks. I would defiantly recommended these lights for a cheaper (and just as durable) option for many of the T5 lighting available. If this is Zoo Meds entry into the aquarium market, they are off to a great start!

Excellent light fixture
Customer Video Review Length:: 2:08 MinsIts a great product, my plants were starving for light from the old light fixture. My tank is a 30gallon tank that came in a package that is sold at petstores and wal mart. Its very bright, only down side is that it does not sit flush with the top of the tank, which is good for tanks that have large aquatic plants that can grow above the water level but bad for fish that jump. Also, because it does not sit flush with the top of the tank light does escape out the front and back. But you just can't have a thriving plant tank with out proper lights and this light goes beyond expectations. The two light bulbs I used have 5,000k and 6,500k output and it has made a major difference in my plant growth.The mounting brackets slide into the light fixture for a secure mount, so it wont slide and drop into the tank. The kit comes with (2) 4ft wire cords to screw into the top of the tank so you can hang it from the ceiling if you need more space for larger...

Maybe I was just ignorant when I purchased this, but just a warning to those that may not know; This does not come with the T5 HO lighting. You need to order it separately, and it seems that the only size that will fit (22" bulb) is only sold via Zoomed. I just ordered the bulbs so I cant really give this a review as far as the quality goes, but I just wanted people to be aware.

Better option than most retail stores
Pros:After visiting multiple LFS (local fish stores) and having them offer me inferior moonlight products (no easy attachment, no blue/white light option) for more than twice the cost ($70), I happily picked this up. The light easily clips onto the back of my glass Solana, and the acrylic tightener prevents one from overdoing it and damaging the glass. I use it in conjunction with Hydrofarm's timers and their "Tower of Power" ([...]). I have the moonlight turn on and off twice a day, once before my MH (metal halide) turns on and once again after it turns off. It casts a shimmery blue light that helps to provide consistent, transitional light for coral and fish with the MH.Cons:I don't ever use the blue+white option.

Good for a 10x10" tank or refugium. I bought it to light my refugium. The clip mechanism work well on a rimless tank/sump. The light itself is really bright. Turns on White and Blue or just Blue. I give it 4 stars because the on/off button is somewhat stuborn and you really have to press hard.
